Dear friends and family,
After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, I’ve made the decision to take an important step for Papa Alex’ care and well-being. As many of you know, he has experienced significant loss and change over the past few years. In light of his increasing needs, he will soon be moving into a nursing home in Red Deer to receive the daily support he requires.
However, I also want to ensure he continues to experience the warmth and connection of family life. To do this, I’m hoping to purchase a wheelchair-accessible home nearby, where Papa can live with me part-time. This arrangement would allow us to maintain a strong family bond while still ensuring he receives professional care throughout the week.
The home I’ve found is well-suited to his needs and is located close to the nursing facility. It also offers space for friends and loved ones to visit—something we need to continue to do for his well-being. I believe this is a door God has opened, and I’m choosing to walk through it in faith.
To make this move possible, I’m seeking to raise $100,000 to assist with purchasing, accessibility upgrades, and caregiving needs.
