Stone’s Health Battle: A Family’s Struggle

This is my son stone. We’ve had a couple of fundraiser up but I’ve had to have them all them down due to someone got a hold of my old phone number and was trying to extort money from make a wish in my name. Luckily that got the idea it didn’t sound right so they got a hold of me knowing I would never ever do something of what this person was trying to to do.

This is stone my son he has been fighting a lot of disability or sickness since the age of a year and half chronic kidney disease stage 3 aorta valve displacement failure to grow failure to thrive the latest development at pho 13 diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 16 diagnosed with scoliosis he is now 17 and needs a kidney transplant. Yes we have insurance. And they will pay for rides to and from his appointments some are in Appleton DePere and as far as Milwaukee. Some days we are there for a couple of days but when it’s time for his transplant I will be living down there for 3 to 4 months if not longer. Stone had a rough life for a kid diagnosed at a year and half was put on growth hormone shots until the age of 3 when they was not working I choose to take him off why give a baby shots if not working. That made disability think he was better and stopped his SSI. I am disabled myself. When stone was 5 his dad passed away of a massive heart attack. Stone was left with myself and 2 sisters who have always understood about stone health and understood he came first. 2 years later we moved from Flint Michigan during the water crisis. Packed up my children and packed the blazer as much as we could and left. For the U.P. still taking stone to appointment but farther away. I was hoping someone to help us out. It takes gas to get to his appointments I don’t always have it some days we are gone longer and need to eat while gone. Repairs on my vehicle if needed. In fact I was buying a vehicle paying 200 a month for 11 months 2 days after I paid it off the serpentine belt broke fix that which ended up breaking the pulley on the alternator fix that then the radiator went out fix that ended up putting almost 900 in the van trying to get it fix ended up junking the vehicle because after all of that it would not start no matter what anybody did that we could not get it started put a brand new battery in it still wouldn’t start so far this month with the help of my oldest daughter we were able to get another vehicle we paid 1200 for it so who knows how long it’ll last but as of now it’s a really good vehicle. This month alone I have to go to Milwaukee twice, DePere and Appleton. To be honest I have no idea how I’m even gonna get him there.

Update

They prescribed him a medication that he had been taking for around 2 months come to find out the was not good for his kidneys and may have done more damage we won’t know until next Wednesday he was supposed to go on a small vacation to stay with his aunt and come home a week. Now doctor says we have to wait until next labs come back. Anything anyone can help me with great thanks for everything if you can’t afford or just can’t please keep him in your prayers

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
