Stand with Sandy in Her Time of Need

Sandy Burns was rushed to the emergency room Thursday, May 29th, for being extremely sick. Upon arrival at the ER, she was found to be extremely dehydrated, with ongoing UTIs, sepsis, and a kidney stone blocking a ureter in one of her kidneys. She hadn’t made urine in 3 days at this point.

She was flown to Chico that same night and was in ICU for 3 days. Her kidneys were not functioning for a while, and just yesterday, she finally peed about 2 cups of urine. She is currently in a rehab nursing facility and on dialysis every few days.

At the moment, we don’t know if this will be long-term dialysis or temporary, but we are praying for her daily.
