Hi, my name is Shunda, and I’m raising money for someone incredibly special to me. Her name is Mae lovingly known as Mama Mae and she’s 76 years old. We met while working together in a warehouse, and she quickly became like family to me.
Mama Mae is currently battling both lupus and cancer. She goes to chemotherapy once a week and also takes chemo pills at home. Despite all she’s going through, she continues to work because even with insurance, her out-of-pocket costs for medication are between $500–$600 a month.
She’s one of the kindest, most giving souls you could ever meet always putting others before herself. She doesn’t know I’m doing this, but I want to surprise her with some financial relief and show her just how loved and supported she truly is.
