Support Natasha as She Stays by Her Daughter’s Side
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to ask for support for my dear friend Natasha during an incredibly difficult time. Her daughter Destiny, who is just 18, is in critical condition due to severe complications from Type 1 Diabetes.
Destiny had to be transferred to a hospital outside her hometown to receive the urgent care she needs. Natasha traveled from Vancouver to be with her and has been staying in hotels nearby, doing everything she can to remain close during this terrifying and uncertain time.
As a mother, her only focus is being there for her daughter — but the costs of travel, hotel stays, food, and missed work are quickly adding up. Natasha would never ask for help herself, so I’m doing it for her.
If you’re able to contribute anything at all, it would mean the world to her and bring some ease in a very scary time. Every little bit helps keep her near her daughter and gives her one less thing to worry about right now.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting. Please keep Destiny in your thoughts.
With love and gratitude,
Jennifer Pendergast
