Help Save Caleb James: Our Brave 12-Year-Old Fighting Leukemia
Our world turned upside down when our sweet boy, Caleb James, was diagnosed with a life-threatening cancer. Caleb is just 12 years old — a bright, funny, and kind-hearted soul who loves to play, laugh, and dream big. Now, he’s fighting for his life against a deadly illness called acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) — a fast-moving cancer that attacks the blood and bone marrow.
It all started with what seemed like common things: Caleb was unusually tired, getting frequent fevers, and bruising without reason. After several doctor visits and tests, we received the news no parent is ever prepared to hear: our son has cancer — and not just any kind, but a high-risk form that’s harder to treat.
Since then, Caleb has been in the hospital receiving intensive chemotherapy. He’s gone through more than any child should ever have to endure — countless needle sticks, blood transfusions, infections, and painful side effects. There are days when the pain is so bad he can barely whisper, but he still tries to smile and tell us he’s okay. That’s the kind of strength our Caleb has.
Right now, Caleb is in critical condition. His doctors are doing everything possible to save him, but the road ahead is long and uncertain. He may need a bone marrow transplant, which gives us hope but also comes with even more challenges, risks, and financial strain.
We created this fundraiser to help cover Caleb’s medical expenses, ongoing treatments, travel, and the everyday costs of staying by his side.
