Samantha’s Fight: Overcoming Medical Expenses

I am starting this fundraiser for my best friend, Samantha Eppler. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021. Since her diagnosis, she has had a lobe of her lung removed and a mass on her skull behind her ear removed twice. Not only that, but the cancer has now metastasized to her chest wall, and she has had to restart chemotherapy. As you all may know, cancer is unfortunately one of the diagnoses that insurance doesn’t cover all that well, which is an absolute shame! Samantha has had several scans and tests done on top of her chemotherapy treatments, and you guessed it…the medical bills have begun to pile up due to insurance lacking the coverage she needs to fight this disgusting monster. She has been fighting this fight for 4, almost 5 years now, and with the support and love of her wonderful husband, 3 beautiful daughters, and a godsend of a mother, she has been able to stay positive for the most part. The financial strain has now become her main stressor that she absolutely does not need while fighting for her life!
