Our beloved Kyra Corley is once again facing one of life’s difficult challenges: breast cancer. First diagnosed in 2021 with invasive lobular carcinoma, Kyra underwent a lumpectomy in 2022. Sadly, the same cancer returned in the spring of 2025. She is now preparing for a double mastectomy with DIEP flap reconstruction, scheduled for August 1, 2025.
Kyra is a woman of unwavering faith and a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ. Whether she is with her family, teaching at Northwestern High School, or leading group fitness classes at Gold’s Gym, Kyra radiates her deep relationship with God. Her strength and light shine through everything she does.
Kyra is incredibly thankful for the strong circle of support that she has from family, friends, and her faith community. She trusts God completely as her Rock and knows that He can and will work all things together for her good and His glory (Romans 8:28). This truth has been proven time and again in her personal testimony. Be it through her struggle with infertility or miraculous adoption stories, God has always brought beauty from her brokenness, and we expect nothing less from Him now.
Along with facing the physical and emotional journey that lies ahead, there is also a very real financial burden to face. Kyra recently learned that the financial impact to her family will exceed $10,000. For most of us, that is a burden we simply aren’t prepared to carry alone. That is why we are reaching out to our community for help.
With your support – through prayers, donations, and sharing this message – we hope to ease Kyra’s burden so she can focus entirely on healing and recovery. Every prayer and donation will have a meaningful impact on her life and the lives of those who love her.
Please consider contributing and spreading the word through conversation, text, email, and social media. Your generosity will make a real difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
