Rally For Babe
We are reaching out to ask for help for Dave’s Service Dog, Babe, who sadly sustained a cranial cruciate ligament injury. Babe has been referred to an Orthopedic Surgeon for a specialized CCL repair that will be very costly, involve an extended rest and recuperation period, as well as physical therapy, to make her best possible recovery.
As many know, years ago, David was in a vehicle that was crushed by an 18-wheeler, and he barely escaped with his life. He fought his way back from devastating injuries and continues to fight to this day, with ongoing complications from that accident. Babe is David’s devoted companion and Service Dog, and she helps him in so many untold ways. The bond they share is like no other.
Please help us reach our goal so that Babe can have her CCL surgery soon and not suffer any longer. Her injury is a painful one and needs to be repaired to bring her relief. Babe is an active girl, and it is so sad seeing her restricted to quiet time on a leash, but that is what is required until she has this operation and heals. We all love Babe, and she really is an extraordinary girl. David relies on her daily for tasks she is trained to help him with. Please help if you can make a contribution to her operation. Every donation will help and be so appreciated. She has pet insurance, but unfortunately, they will not help with this operation. We, as a community, can help ease the burden for Dave and Billie by chipping in whatever each person feels led to give. If you are not in a position to give, we understand completely and appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and shares of her fundraiser.
Thank you, everyone. Blessings.
