ProjectMATT is a young charity group taking on unique physical challenges in order to raise awareness and money for those who suffer from syndromes that limit their mobility.
Our upcoming project will take place the 14th of June and is dedicated to ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) patients. The event resolves around cycling from Oslo to Stockholm (roughly 565km) in less than 24h – we call it STHLM565 #BikeforME . We are working together with both the Swedish and Norwegian National Associations for ME in an attempt to unite these two nations in the battle against ME and establish this connection by cycling from one capital to the other.
The money raised on this account will be spend on the organisation and logistics of this fundraising event (food, cars, hostel, spare parts,…). We want to keep our expenses to the minimum – the money that won’t be spent, will go to ME/CFS (50/50 to RME and ME foreningen).
