Isabelita’s Story: A Call for Compassion
Hi, my name is Jefferson, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my dear friend Isabelita — a brave, joyful, and resilient woman who has been fighting for years to regain something as basic and essential as the ability to breathe freely.
A few years ago, Isabelita underwent a rhinoplasty procedure in Ecuador, where a polymer was injected into her nose. Unfortunately, this caused irreversible damage — not only to her appearance but also to her ability to breathe. Her nasal passages became asymmetrical, and today, she struggles to breathe, especially at night. She has already endured three reconstructive surgeries, but her body rejects the grafts, and the attempts have sadly failed.
After extensive research and medical consultations, Isabelita has finally been accepted by a highly reputable clinic in Izmir, Turkey, which specializes in complex revision rhinoplasty. The full treatment, including hospital care, pre-operative testing, accommodation, transfers, and post-op support, costs €50,000.
We’ve set our fundraising goal at $70,000 USD to also cover additional travel costs, recovery needs, medication, and my presence as her trusted companion and caregiver throughout the process.
This is not just cosmetic surgery — this is Isabelita’s only chance to breathe without pain, to sleep peacefully again, and to feel whole in her own body.
