Hi, my name is Corey, and me and my family are trying to raise money for me to get medical help. I have had to quit my job as a truck driver and come off the road because of issues concerning my esophagus, as well as a broad range of other issues.
We have run out of money to pay for the doctor visits, and after seven trips to the ER so far, we are running out of options. We’ve been told that the only options we have are to go to outpatient doctors, which cost money. We don’t qualify for Medicaid, and we also don’t have the money to get health insurance. We’re just trying to get me better, and we are at a dead end and don’t know what to do. So, we created this fundraiser account so that we can help get me better and back up on our feet.
We have a GI doctor, and we’ve been told that I need a scope to be put down my throat, which costs anywhere between $800 to $1,000 without insurance. I also have to go to an ENT and be checked out for some other issues as well, and we cannot afford this. The ENT visit alone is $200, and that’s if they don’t even prescribe medication. We have medication that we need to pick up and no money for the medication either. We are at our wit’s end, so whatever you can donate would be helpful. Thank you.
