Hi, my name is Natasha Barrett. I’m asking for your support during one of the most difficult times of my life.
On September 14, 2024, I suffered a traumatic injury while working—slipping on a hazardous, greasy floor that had been improperly cleaned. I hit the ground hard, injuring my head, neck, and back. I was later diagnosed with a concussion, and since then I’ve continued to experience severe pain, constant headaches, and persistent neck and back issues.
Despite the fall happening at work, my employer has denied any responsibility, and I’ve been left without medical support or financial compensation. I was replaced while trying to return to work under doctor’s restrictions, and later fully terminated without warning after only one day back. I was simply trying to survive.
Shortly after the injury, I experienced a mental health crisis so severe that I was admitted to a crisis center under a 10-13 (involuntary hold). I truly believe that the head trauma and emotional stress caused by this injury led to that moment. Research shows a clear link between concussions and suicidal thoughts—and I’ve lived that terrifying reality.
Now, nearly 9 months later, I am still in pain and trying to prove the extent of my injuries. An MRI is urgently needed to detect possible damage such as a herniated disc or spinal injury—which could explain the pain I live with daily & finally validate my condition and help me receive justice, closure, and financial relief.
The cost of this MRI and the follow-up treatment is beyond what I can afford on my own, especially after losing my job and stability. I’m humbly asking for donations to help cover:

• Legal and medical documentation for my case
• Daily living support while I recover
