LEANNE is 46, a MOTHER to a very special young man, in the prime of his life, who recently gifted LEANNE the greatest GIFT a child could give his mother..

The joy of experiencing life as a first time GRANDMOTHER.

LEANNE, is CURRENTLY UNDERGOING treatment for an AGREESSIVE FORM OF BREAST CANCER.

She is finding it difficult to pay for the

added burden of very frequent scans and the associated medical costs.

LEANNE is EXTREMELY BRAVE and is willing to share her very personal, her very painful and private journey with us all..

In the hopes to deliver a

VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO BOTH MEN AND WOMEN!!

“I had a LUMP in 2023, and I went for a scan. It came back as a CYST, and it still wasn’t gone by July 2024.

I had a MAMMOGRAM that came back CLEAR,then I left it until this year and told my Dr it WAS STILL THERE.

I went for an ULTRASOUND,

NOTHING, then I had a BIOPSY and found out it was BREAST CANCER ♋️

So PLEASE ANY LUMPS, don’t leave them PLEASE ALWAYS GET YOURSELF CHECKED, because the longer you leave it, the worse it may become ”

Firstly, please note, that this was very difficult to write for many reasons..

It’s so hard to ask family and friends to donate, especially in times where everyone everywhere, is doing it tough in one way or another.

Realising it is the ACTS of KINDNESS from RANDOM STRANGERS ,

our everyday HEROES, that we have learnt to CALL UPON FOR HELP, in any CRISIS..

IT’S JUST THE AUSSIE WAY!!

My friends this is unfortunately, one of those times.

I am a good friend of LEANNES, having known her through working together at NSW HEALTH for many years.

Both single mums at the time, her beloved son AARON, was in her every word.

Having both survived violent and abusive partners in the past, we instantly bonded over many things.

As life does, days turn into weeks and weeks into years, we always managed to stay in contact.

The true meaning of friendship I believe,

is everlasting and bounded by the very random acts, of kindess.
