My name is Andrews Poovath, and I am writing this with a heavy heart from Missouri City, Texas, to request your support for my dear son-in-law, Mr. Paul P.S., who is currently fighting for his life in the ICU following a tragic and life-threatening road accident.
Paul, just 52 years old, is a hardworking auto rickshaw driver and a devoted husband and father. On his way to work recently, he was hit by a speeding Innova car that ran a red light and crashed into his vehicle with devastating force. The accident was so severe that Paul was thrown out of his auto, hitting his head violently on the road.
He suffered a major skull fracture, and the injury caused massive bleeding in his brain. Doctors had to perform an emergency brain surgery to remove the blood clot and reduce the pressure. To save his life, they also had to remove a portion of his skull, which is currently preserved for future surgery once his brain swelling decreases.
Since the accident, Paul has been unconscious and on life support, dependent on a ventilator for over 21 days. Every day in the ICU adds to the growing emotional and financial burden on our family. As the only breadwinner, his absence has left our loved ones struggling in every way imaginable.
I am humbly reaching out to you all — friends, well-wishers, and kind-hearted ones — to ask for your support. Your donation will help cover Paul’s ICU care, surgeries, ventilator costs, and ongoing treatment, and provide some relief to his wife and children who are clinging to hope.
