Hello family! I am reaching out to you all to ask for support for my top surgery recovery. This is the first time this opportunity has been this tangible for me, and I am hoping to not have to worry and stress about my basic needs during this process. I am asking for $1,500 total, and anything you give will support me in sustaining my livelihood during recovery.
I have to take 3-4 weeks off of work due to my job being very active, so there are very little accommodations that can be made to enable my ability to work. I also will not be able to jump back into a full 40 hour work week at the end of my recovery, so I am asking for $1000 to cover 2 months of rent. I am also hoping to receive $250 to cover the cost of utilities during this time. The last $250 would be used for groceries and for purchasing various supplies to make my recovery easier and more comfortable.
