Recently, I met a 57-year-old Mexican man working on the side of the road — a man who left a lasting impact on me in just a few moments. Both of his legs were amputated from the knees down, yet there he was, still working, still pushing forward without a single complaint. Like so many hardworking Mexicans, he made no excuses. He simply did what he had to do — with dignity, strength, and humility.
