Medical expenses and upcoming nicu stay

Hi everyone! It is with a lot of consideration that Steven and I have decided to start this fundraiser in hopes of easing the financial burden of our sons upcoming arrival, nicu stay, and loss of wages due to Steven not getting paid parental leave, and being the sole provider for our family! Our son has a kidney disorder that will be treated and followed after birth, and we are planning for an early induction at 36 weeks. The original plan was for Steven to take off the time im in the hospital and return once I’ve been discharged, but with 4 other kids at home it is going to require him to take additional time off while I meet Noah’s needs in the nicu.

not only this, but I’ve been diagnosed with LADA which is latent autoimmune diabetes in adults. Similar to type 1 diagnosed in adulthood. This requires me to have a continuous glucose monitor that I have to change the prescription of every ten days, along with my prescription of long acting insulin that I take every night and will continue to even after pregnancy.

(I know this is a long explanation, so if you made it this far I appreciate you even reading and thinking of/praying for our family! )

Finally and unfortunately we are uninsured and do not qualify for Medicaid/government assistance. We normally get by but with the additional prescriptions which are very costly, along with the upcoming loss of wages we are unsure of what the next few months will hold.

if you could share this and continue to pray for our family, myself, and our son we would be extremely grateful.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
