A beloved local Indigenous single mother is currently travelling abroad with her young daughter and is facing a medical emergency. While navigating this crisis in a country without access to free healthcare, she has been burdened with unanticipated and overwhelming medical expenses. On top of this, she now needs to reschedule both her and her daughter’s flights to allow time for healing before safely returning home.
This fundraiser will help cover:
- Emergency medical bills
- Extended accommodations during recovery
- New flight arrangements
- Ongoing care needs for both her and her daughter while they’re abroad
This is a call for community care and mutual aid. We know that systems often fail those who need support the most, especially Indigenous women. But together, we can step in with love and tangible help. No amount is too small, and every share or donation matters
