Little Wiley Edgar’s big fight!

Wiley Edgar is a beautiful 5-month-old baby boy from Dubbo NSW, full of love and surrounded by the warmest family; his mum Paige, dad Lachy, and big brother Digby.

Recently, Wiley was diagnosed with Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma, a brain tumour that has now spread to his spine. This devastating news has changed everything for this young family.

Over the next 18 to 24 months, Wiley will undergo intensive chemotherapy, or immunotherapy if chemo isn’t effective. The road ahead is uncertain and incredibly tough. This type of cancer may impact Wiley’s ability to gain weight and could affect his eyesight, hearing, and neurological development.

Paige and Lachy will be travelling frequently to Sydney’s Westmead Hospital, where Wiley will begin his treatment. They’ll be spending long periods away from home, family, work, and the support of their local community, all while caring for a very sick baby and a young child.

This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial pressure on this beautiful family by covering costs like travel, accommodation, lost income, and the extra expenses that come with having a child in long-term care.

If you can support in any way, no matter how small, it would mean the world to Wiley’s family. And if you’re not in a position to give, sharing this page is a powerful way to help too.

Thank you for wrapping your arms around Paige, Lachy, Digby and, especially, little Wiley as they face the hardest battle of their lives.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
