Help Support Mumpe Alex and the Children of Kampala Christian Orphanage
My dear friend and brother in Christ, Mumpe Alex, was recently involved in a devastating car accident in Uganda. Tragically, the driver of the vehicle was killed at the scene. Alex is currently unconscious and hospitalized in critical condition at a small clinic more than 45 kilometers from the orphanage he so faithfully serves.
Who Is Mumpe Alex?
Alex is the founder and director of Kampala Christian Orphanage, a safe and loving home for over 400 orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda. He prepares their meals, coordinates their education, and provides spiritual guidance and a sense of belonging. He has also been working to finish a school on the orphanage site—an effort powered entirely by faith and generous donations.
Why This fundraiser?
The orphanage relies 100% on donations—and now, so does Alex’s urgent medical care. Medical facilities in Uganda require out-of-pocket payment, and resources are extremely limited.
This campaign will help cover:
Emergency and ongoing medical treatment for Alex
Basic operations and daily needs at the orphanage
Food and care for the 400+ children during Alex’s absence
Support for completing the school in progress
