Kristine & Po Need Your Help

Hello

My name is Kristine and in the photos with me is my Cowboy Corgi named Po.

On February 08, 2023, I was seriously injured on the job in Oceanside, California. The insurance company as well as my employer ghosted me, then “voluntarily” let me go 4 months later without ever speaking to me again. The case was not accepted until November 24, 2024. I received no treatment until February of 2025, a dismal 8 authorized visits.

I applied for unemployment, which ran out 2 weeks ago. I applied for disability, which I do not qualify for. I continue to look for work even though through multiple exams, MRIs, and CT scans I cannot work. I was recently diagnosed with an untreated TBI.

My injuries include my neck, shoulder, spine, and leg. As of this writing, I had received no payments for Workers’ Compensation, with none forthcoming, while the attorneys continue to argue about it in court. I am now destitute and flat broke.

My understanding with Workers’ Compensation is that this is the normal way things work. I’ve never been in a Workers’ Compensation claim, so this is all new to me and very frightening.

I need help, and resources in my area are very limited due to the population of homeless. I am currently with only sporadic housing. I am asking for anything to help. I am in my 50s and have never been in this situation before. Please help me in any way you can, thank you.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
