Hi, I’m Kaylei and my husband’s name is Zachary. We’ve been together for almost 8 long years and have been struggling with the most heart-wrenching thing possible to us, and this is unexplainable infertility. We’ve both seen doctors and had testing done, and no one can seem to find out why our little miracle hasn’t come yet. We’ve suffered 2 miscarriages and nothing since then. Our options now are to try IUI and close monitoring or IVF, which both are very expensive. We have insurance, and it does cover parts of IUI, but unfortunately, not all of it. The out-of-pocket expenses could total to $4,000 or higher. We are doing our best to save and do what we need to do, but it feels like we are taking 10 steps forward and having to take 20 more steps back. I’ve always wanted to be a mom, and my husband has always wanted to be a father. No one ever prepares you for the trials and tribulations of infertility, and it hurts so bad when that day comes. I don’t wish that pain on anyone, but I do know the pain all too well. If you could help in any way, shape, or form, I would be forever grateful for you.
