Hello, my name is Ashley Clark. I am starting this fundraiser because on March 23, 2025, I had a very serious automobile accident. It was a one-person accident and thankfully, I was the only one involved. I was traveling on a road I hadn’t been on in years, and a curve came up faster than I recalled. I was unable to make the curve, losing control of my vehicle and hitting a tree.
I sustained rather serious injuries: breaking my neck, severe spinal cord damage, multiple lacerations to the face, multiple fractures in the face, spinal fluid on the brain, and I had to have reconstruction to the left side of my nose. I had to go into emergency surgery and have a spinal fusion. In turn, I have been out of work since.
I have had an amazing recovery, thankfully, but I’m still unable to return to work. I’m looking at least another month before I can return to work. With monthly bills and daily needs adding up quickly and recurring follow-up appointments, I decided I would ask for help with fundraiser.
