How to keep your human alive and thriving… kinda

So, on top of all the other health “adventures” I’ve been having recently, which I’ve mostly been managing (“whaddya mean I might have cancer?!” That was today’s doctor visit), there’re these two smaller, but financially unmanageable-to-me things:

And I’ve found out that at the end of this month (it could be sooner if I had the money, but alas, and I might have to reschedule if I can’t swing this) I also need seven fillings in my teeth (which I cannot afford), mostly to replace that one dentist’s substandard work that has once again fallen out. He did a lot of fillings, and they tend to fall out in bunches. That’ll be about $515.

And my glasses prescription has changed though that I definitely need new glasses (which I also cannot afford). That’s $130. And I need more eye medicine, which is another $25. All added together and rounding up to try to account for any fees, that’s about $700.

My days are just filled with appts right now. I keep looking for jobs, but even if I got any interest when would I have the time? All the appts are a full time job! And disability and health insurance don’t pay for teeth or vision. I pay out of pocket for some limited dental and vision insurance, but it’s still not enough.

Wanna help a human stay alive and somewhat functional? *sad eyes*

Any extra will go to food or meds or other supplies I need like laundry detergent and soap and Tums and Tylenol.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
