Hi, my name is Kenneth. I’m 29 years old, and right now, I’m homeless and fighting a serious medical condition called Crohn’s disease — a painful, chronic illness that attacks my digestive system and leaves me in constant pain, exhaustion, and at times unable to even eat.
Before all this, I worked in auto detailing. I took pride in it — making people’s cars shine, working hard, and doing honest work to get by. But once my symptoms got worse, everything spiraled. I lost work, couldn’t keep up with appointments, and eventually, I lost my place to live.
Now I’m trying to manage this disease while sleeping wherever I can — couch surfing, in shelters, or even outside. When flare-ups hit, I end up in the hospital for days. The pain is unbearable, but what’s even harder is doing it all alone.
I’m asking for $5,000 to help cover medical expenses like doctor visits, medications, and testing — and hopefully put something toward stable short-term housing so I can focus on healing instead of just surviving.
I’m not lazy. I’m not giving up. I just need a chance. If you can help — even with a few dollars or by sharing this — you’re giving me a shot at getting my life back.
Thank you for reading this, and for being the kind of person who cares. It means more than you know.
