Hi Everyone, my name is Sai and I am the Director for Holding Hands, LLC.
I have been self-funding Holding Hands since 2020, however, as we are growing, I am not able to personally cover the costs anymore to meet our patients’ needs.
At Holding Hands LLC, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for men and women seeking recovery from addiction while honoring their need for anonymity—especially those impacted by cultural or societal stigma. We offer affordable, secure housing paired with access to treatment resources, life skills development, and a strong foundation of accountability. Our goal is to help individuals reclaim their dignity, rebuild their lives, and sustain long-term recovery in a community that respects their background, values their privacy, and believes in their potential.
Please join me in this fundraiser to cover the monthly rental/utilities of a house for at least 2 months, while patients are selected to rent out the rooms. I would like to point out, that our target demographic are Asians.
There is a need for this because in my 5 years of experience working with numerous treatment centers and addiction related half-way homes, the percentage of Asians are extremely low. Less than 3%. As an Indian, I am able to confidently share that this is due to addiction (alcohol, drugs) always being swept under the rug to save the Parents/Family reputation. This leads to the problem not being solved and the addict ending up being an outcast and ultimately, leads to the destruction of their life.
I am happy to answer any questions you might have. I am an open book, as is our finances. We are recognized by Salvation Army and other top tier rehab organizations.
Thank you in advance and God Bless.
Sai Vale
