Hi, my name is Sarah Ughetti, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my amazing dad, Dino.
In May, our lives were turned upside down when my dad received a devastating and life-altering medical diagnosis. Since then, he has had to stop working to begin necessary treatments, which has caused a significant loss of income, making it difficult to keep up with everyday expenses while navigating the physical, emotional, and financial toll of his condition.
Anyone who knows my dad knows he’s one of the hardest working people out there. He’s spent his entire life showing up for others, especially for our family. Early mornings, long days, weekends—doing whatever it took to support our family. He’s never asked for anything in return. Now, for the first time, he’s facing something he can’t push through alone.
While he focuses on his health, our family is doing everything we can to ease the burden, but the costs are starting to add up quickly. We may need to bring in some outside help at home, and additional support is needed for medical expenses, groceries, utility bills, home cleaning services, lawn care, and anything else that helps reduce stress so he can focus on healing.
Our dad has always been the rock of our family—hardworking, selfless, and endlessly giving. Now, it’s our turn to support him.
