I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life. My family and I are facing overwhelming medical bills that we simply cannot afford on our own. Over the past several months, we’ve experienced unexpected medical emergencies that have left us emotionally, physically, and now financially exhausted.
Between necessary treatments, hospital stays, follow-up care, and medications, the costs have added up to over $30,000 and we’re being asked to pay much of it now. Despite insurance and doing everything we can to manage expenses, we’re still left with a mountain of debt we’re struggling to climb.
This situation has affected not only me, but also my loved ones. It’s hard to explain the feeling of helplessness that comes with choosing between everyday needs and vital medical care. We’ve cut back everywhere we can, but it’s not enough.
