Help Tosha and Dom Through This Tough Time

Hi! My name is Nicole and I am setting up this fundraiser for my little sister, Tosha. A little about my sister: she is single, the mother of one, lives here in Moscow, and is a home health worker.

On May 26, my nephew did what no child wants to and called 911 for his mom. She was seizing, and although he was scared, he was an excellent caller and his 911 operator was superb. In the mix of that seizure, my sister aspirated, causing double pneumonia. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, she got progressively worse. We were advised to get POA paperwork and a living will in order.

On June 10th, my nephew turned 16. Our small family was all able to make it to the hospital to have a little get-together for him. Later that night, she was transferred to another hospital where again she took another turn for the worse. She was intubated and sedated. Her stats were unstable, and in return, she was medically paralyzed. She has since had a feeding tube added and a biopsy on her lungs has been done. There is something far worse going on than the pneumonia. All the doctors can tell us now is that she is “very, very, very sick.”

As we sit and wait for the results and what this road forward looks like, we are trying to maintain just her regular household bills and the raising of her son. My parents are driving to St. Louis from as far as Silex every day, and it’s quickly adding up. I know that times are hard for everyone. Even if you cannot help financially, we will gladly appreciate all shares, well wishes, and prayers as well. Thank you!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
