Family and friends, I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Tonya Mitchell to help her and her daughter, Nevaeh, recover and rebuild their lives.
On Monday, June 9th, Tonya and Nevaeh were involved in a devastating car accident. While we are incredibly grateful that both survived, they did not walk away unscathed.
Tonya sustained injuries that will require surgery and an extended period of recovery. Her daughter has thankfully been released from trauma care, but the emotional and physical toll on this family is heavy.
As the primary breadwinner of her household, Tonya now faces a difficult road ahead – not only physically, but financially. The road to recovery will involve hospital bills, surgical costs, rehabilitation, and basic living expenses while she is unable to work. We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time and allow Tonya to focus fully on healing.
If you’ve ever met Tonya, you know she is a hardworking mother who puts her family first and always steps up for those in need. Now, she needs our help. It is our turn to support her during this incredibly challenging time.
