This fundraiser is being made for 1 of the most amazing women! She raised her 2 children, has helped and loved so many in her community without a second thought! She loves with her whole being! Her name is Shawna Morgan.
She was diagnosed in April of 2022, when they found cancer after her first surgery which was a simple hysterectomy. During this surgery they found and diagnosed her with Stage 3C ovarian cancer, fallopian tube and paratoneal cancer as well. They then went back in 5 weeks later for another surgery removing her ovaries and they done 16 biopsies at that time. She did 6 rounds of double chemo. She’s has had 4 surgeries total including getting a port in & taking it out. The type of cancer has a 90% chance of returning. She has to see her oncologists for the rest of her life for testing, scans and labs. She has been in remission. April 2025 started her 3rd year in remission. She will also need surgery on both of her knees.
We are making this fundraiser because she is at risk of loosing her home for over 25 plus years. The home she raised her babies, has her grandbabies in, and has made her whole life in. We want to attempt to save her home! Her car is paid off but needs some work. She cannot work and has been on disability since about 6 months after she was diagnosed with the Cancer. It’s just not enough to live on.
We only have 60 days to come up with the money or loose her HOME.
If we can raise the money to save her home, pay it off, so she has HER home. HER safe place. HER security.. it would be a HUGE help to Shawna.
And if at the very least, if we cant raise that we can have enough to move her in somewhere close to her children and family, in her local community.
