“Help Sarah Reclaim Her Life After a Stroke”
Hello, my name is Miriam Sims, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my beloved Mother, Sarah.
Just a few months ago, My Mother was a vibrant, hardworking Mother still putting effort to raise her grandkids and teach them the ways of lord, always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. On March 15th, our world changed overnight when My mother suffered a severe stroke that left her partially paralyzed and unable to speak.
Since that day, life has been an uphill battle. My mom spent weeks in the ICU and has begun a slow, painful recovery process. She now requires extensive rehabilitation—speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy—all of which come at a high cost. Insurance only covers a small fraction, and we’ve already exhausted our savings.
We’re humbly asking for your help. Funds raised will go directly toward:
Ongoing physical and speech therapy sessions
Medical equipment, including a wheelchair and mobility aids
Home modifications to make our space accessible
Transportation to appointments
Daily caregiving support
My Mom is only 65 years old and has so much life left to live. Every day, She struggle and fights to regain her independence, to speak to her children again, and to walk without assistance. Your generosity, prayers, and support mean the world to us—and can truly change the course of his recovery.
