Dear friends, loved ones, and all: My name is Rony Chali, and this is what happened to me.
- I was working as usual at the restaurant. On May 23rd, I felt a mild pain in my lower abdomen (I thought it was normal pain). The pain intensified the following day, May 24th, to the point where I had discomfort walking and working. I made an effort to finish the workday with pain and chills, but when I got home, the pain was even more intense. I had to go to the Hackensack Meridian Hospital (Hackensack University Medical Center) here in New Jersey at midnight on May 25th.
I was diagnosed with acute inflammation of the appendix, and surgery was required. Thank God, the doctors, and the entire staff. The operation (laparoscopic surgery) was a success. It was an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone: pain, fever, despair, and more.
I am entirely grateful to GOD, to all the hospital staff, my friends, and family for taking care of me. Thanks to them, I am now recovering.
- I would like to sincerely ask for your help to cover the hospital’s medical expenses and personal expenses for my recovery. I will be out of work for 3 to 5 weeks. I will be entirely grateful for your help. I know that every coin, every dollar you give me was hard-earned. I will appreciate your donation. Today for me, tomorrow for you.
Please, if you, your friends, or family suffer from appendicitis or any other illness or accident, do not hesitate to go to the doctor or to the hospital for emergency help. For me, it was an experience I would not wish on anyone. Do not ignore any illness you may have and seek help.
Take care of yourself!
Thank you for your support!
God bless you!
