Hello, recently I was diagnosed with a rare, chronic condition called Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency. What started as frequent dry eyes and persistent pain slowly turned into something much more serious — a progressive loss of vision, and neither glasses nor contacts could correct it. Each day, seeing the world clearly became harder.
As someone who depends on her vision not only for her work, but for the little joys in life — reading a student’s proud handwriting, seeing my beloved nephews’ faces, and watching my community gather at the local small business markets — this diagnosis has been heartbreaking.
There is hope. A specialized eye surgery can help restore my vision, reduce daily pain, and give me the chance to live without relying on lifelong prescription drops. But it’s expensive — and that’s why I’m reaching out.
If you feel called to help, any donation — big or small — will bring me one step closer to healing and independence. Your support means the world to me.
Thank you for reading my story. Thank you for your kindness.
