2 days before Thanksgiving, I had an infection in my foot that caused several blood clots. My foot was infected and was amputated. After 2 months of recovery, I returned to work to realize I was replaced and was not going to be able to earn an income that would help me pay my bills. I eventually found another job but I am barely making $1,900 a month. I can’t afford to pay my medical insurance which I desperately need. I also have a car note and several other bills not including the growing amount of medical bills that keep coming in. The money goal I am trying to reach will let me pay off my medical insurance for the year and catch up on my car payments. Anything extra would go towards my mounting medical expenses. I also need $700 for the copay for a wheelchair and I still owe 4,000 copay for my prosthetic leg.
