Hello everyone, my name is Ebelyn, and I am the niece of my uncle, Rafael. On the morning of June 3rd, my uncle was dropping his girlfriend off at work on his motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with a car. As a result, he suffered serious injuries to his left leg and more minor injuries to his right leg.
My uncle will be unable to walk for at least a month and will remain in the hospital for the same period, undergoing three surgeries. Unfortunately, he does not have health insurance, and our family is facing financial hardship. We are a low-income household, and my uncle is currently unable to work, which means he cannot pay rent or cover the bills for basic living expenses and medical care as they accumulate.
This is an incredibly difficult time for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support him. Financial strain is weighing heavily on all of us, but especially on my uncle.
