Help Rachel Eaton with her Medical Recovery

Hello, everyone! My name is Rachel Eaton and my health has been declining for the past few years as a result of serious gut issues. I’m at a point where I can barely eat solid food and I have very little energy to do my day-to-day tasks. As a result, I’ve been bedridden, and I’ve lost thirty pounds in the last four months, so I’m choosing to rely on my friends and community after years of pushing through on my own.

I’m getting more in debt with every test; I’ve had an upper endoscopy, a colonoscopy, two CT scans, two MRIs, one of them being an MRI enterography, and countless blood and stool tests. I am getting closer to a diagnosis, which my GI thinks is likely Crohn’s disease based on my calproctectin test, but I still need to do a capsule endoscopy so that they can look at my small intestine to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. If so, it’ll mean years of expensive medication and possibly surgery.

I’ve been living out my dreams of working as a self-employed Webcomic artist, but these health conditions have caused me to put these dreams, my way of earning an income, and my life on hold. I’m hoping to finish my webcomic, Realta, and my tarot deck, which is an illustrated series and passion project for Patreon and my Etsy shop, as soon as I’m well again. If you can donate or share to my fundraiser, it would mean the world to me and my loved ones.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
