Help Phoenix’s Heart Heal

Friday June 6th at around 8am, Phoenix was found unresponsive and blue by his Mom and Grandmom. Phoenix’s mom started CPR immediately while waiting for paramedics to arrive. When paramedics arrived, they ended up have to shock Phoenix twice to resuscitate. During the ambulance ride to the hospital, Phoenix ended up having a seizure. He was rushed to a local hospital where they continued life saving care. They then made the decision that Phoenix needed to be transferred to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Phoenix was then flown to CHOP and was admitted to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Later Friday night Phoenix ended up coding and resuscitation occurred. Once he was resuscitated they made the decision to put him on ECMO to take any stress off of his heart. Around 11:00 PM Phoenix had a procedure done to put a catheter in his heart to help reduce any pressure. Since that procedure Phoenixs vitals have remained stable but he is still currently on life support and remains in critical condition. Phoenixs heart is very sick, and the cardiology team at CHOP are doing everything they can to get down to the bottom of what’s causing Phoenixs heart to be so sick.

The cost of medical bills, travel and loss of work is becoming a financial strain. Please consider contributing to this family in their time of need! We will continue to pray for Phoenix and hope for the best outcome as this beautiful little boy fights to make a full recovery.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
