Help Paul Watts Stay in Addiction Treatment

Hello, my name is Paul Watts. The reason I am asking for help is because I was told last June that the company I’m employed by would be closing due to the lack of demand for the automotive parts we produce. At that time, the company asked me to stay on until March of 2026, and I agreed to stay. Just about a week ago, I was told that my department would be closing as of May 24th, 2025. I was given less than a week’s notice that my job was no longer there, and my health insurance would also be canceled on the same date.

I am currently in a treatment program for addiction, and I was notified today that I owe the treatment facility $550 for the previous month of treatment and that I would be charged $18 a day from this point on and I’d be considered a self-paid patient. So far, my treatment has been going very well, and I have had no problems with relapse. Being in the program, I’ve been able to live a normal life of working and paying my bills on time. I spoke with the program coordinator about being able to get approved for what is called a SOR grant, but I don’t qualify for any of the help programs.

I am in a panic and I’m trying to do whatever I can in order to stay in the program. Without the treatment and medication they provide, I will not be able to function, and my whole life will be turned upside down. I’m afraid that I will lose everything that I have worked so hard to obtain. I am currently looking for work, and I am hoping that I’ll be working as soon as possible, and then after some time, I’ll get new insurance and get back to normal. I’m just asking for this help to get myself back on track. This has happened so fast and unexpectedly that I don’t really know how to handle it, and I need help.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
