I’ve been struggling with alcoholism for 12 years in silence, mostly because I didn’t have health insurance. I found a program that will take me without health insurance, but there’s a co-pay I’m responsible for. While I’m in this inpatient program, I won’t be able to work. I don’t know how else to come up with the money. It’s very difficult for me to ask people for help, but it seems like this is the only way that I’ll be able to pay the difference for my treatment!
