Our beloved AlyCat — a radiant light in all of our lives, a pillar in our community, a dancing queen — needs us now more than ever.
She’s the first to show up with laughter, the first to get everyone on the dance floor, and the first to remind you that life is meant to be celebrated. If you know her, you know joy. You know presence. You know love in motion. She brings the magic, and the glitter! She’s the friend who reminds you that Music is never done playing. Now it’s our turn to carry the beat for her.
Our girl is facing something really hard. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing surgery on June 10th. After surgery comes radiation, and a long journey of various interventions and treatments — emotional, physically demanding, and expensive.
The road ahead is unknown and scary, but she’s not walking it alone. She’s walking it with an army of people who adore her — people who believe in her strength and her ability to turn even the hardest moment into something beautiful. There will be missed work, medical bills, and moments that will test her strength. But if you know her, you also know: she’s fierce, she’s grounded, and she’s surrounded by people who love her deeply.
This fundraiser is a way for us to lift some of the financial weight off her shoulders so she can focus on healing and resting.
