I’ve recently been bombarded by a series of dental issues that have impacted my everyday life, as well as puts my future health at major risk. Due to being unable to see a dentist for so long, I’ve accumulated several cavities, decaying wisdom teeth as well as other teeth.
I’ve had the top two wisdom teeth removed so far, as well as a top second molar. Originally that tooth was due for a root canal but was unable to properly numbed, leading to it getting extracted. While recovering form those, the other issues are piling up and getting worse. As it stands now I have 3 teeth in urgent need of a root canals but the costs are far more than I can pay for as my family is already behind in bills, barely able to buy food, and facing debt. The examinations for the root canals alone cost about $340, and without it I’ve only been told a broad estimate of the procedures prices. The other top second molar (tooth 2) is looking at about $3,500-$4,800, and the others (teeth 5 and 31) will be anywhere from $2000-$5000 themselves (max prices should include the crown).
This prices are far beyond what I nor my family can afford, and I’m still looking at 2 more wisdom teeth that need urgent extractions, several fillings, and laser gum treatment to top it all off. I’m asking for a lot I understand, but I need the help, even if I chose to extract those teeth the costs will add up, and I will need to eventually replace them which is even more costly.
