My name is Daniel Ortega, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for support for my wife, Emily Ortega, who was recently diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a form of breast cancer.
While the diagnosis was devastating, we are grateful to share that her prognosis is good. She is strong, positive, and ready to fight—but the road ahead won’t be easy.
To treat the cancer, she will be undergoing a radical double mastectomy, followed by several weeks of recovery and physical therapy. Doctors are hopeful she won’t need radiation, but it’s still a possibility depending on how things progress.
The emotional and physical toll is already heavy—and the financial burden is growing fast. Between medical expenses, time off work, travel to appointments, and recovery needs, the costs are adding up.
We’re asking for any help—big or small—to ease her stress and allow her to focus on healing and recovery, not bills.
