Hi, my name is Joseph, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my amazing mother, Carmen Uribe.
Carmen is 48 years old, a proud Dominican woman, and one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. She immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic all by herself, determined to build a better future for her family. As a single mother, she has worked two jobs for years to support me and keep us going.
Now, she needs our help.
Carmen has been diagnosed with a medical condition that requires a total abdominal hysterectomy. The pain has become unbearable, and without this surgery, her health and quality of life will only continue to decline. Despite her condition, she continues working long hours just to make ends meet—but it’s no longer sustainable.
Unfortunately, the surgery and recovery costs come to $15,000, which insurance won’t fully cover. We simply don’t have the means to pay for it out of pocket.
My mom has always put others first—whether it was staying up late to help me study, working double shifts, or giving without ever expecting anything in return. Now, I’m asking for your help in giving her a chance to finally rest, recover, and heal.
Every dollar makes a difference. Whether you donate or simply share this page, you’re helping a woman who truly deserves a break after a lifetime of hard work and sacrifice.
Thank you for reading and for standing with my mom during this difficult time. Your support means the world to us.
With love and gratitude,
Joseph Uribe
