Hey, my name is Nathaniel Shugart. I’m looking to raise some money to help my grandma. She had a stroke in late April. She was in the hospital and a physical therapy center till May 12th. We would have liked her to stay longer, but they said she was good (which she wasn’t). She lost all function on the right side of her body from head to toes. The stroke also caused her to lose most of her speaking ability. She was able to walk, do task, and speak just fine by herself before this and we hope to get her back to that someday.
My family and I are doing everything we can to take care of her and get her the therapy/medical care she needs. My father and I are with her every day, working on moving/strengthening her limbs, as well as working on her speech. Being with her every day has made me the only one able to work. My dad had to take family medical leave (with no pay), which has been rough on the bills also. If you are able to help at all, it would be greatly appreciated by me and my family.
