Hello, I’m trying to raise money to buy my mother this electric wheelchair so she’ll be able to get around on her own. She’s 78 years old, has onset of dementia, and her legs have basically given out. I want to be able to have her come outside, go to doctor’s appointments, and go shopping with ease and some feeling of independence.
I care for her full-time at home. I’m also trying to get her an electric bath chair to seat her into the tub, as she loves to take baths but I can’t lift her up that far. But first and foremost, an electric wheelchair for her to have some mobility of her own is the priority.
