Help my Aunt with her Breast cancer recovery

So ordinarily, I do not ask for help. A great person in my life has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She’s my aunt, but she’s always been like a mother. She’s been a role model of mine and someone that has always strived for my success. We have had the best times. Some of my favorite memories are the weekends before Christmas when I would spend the weekend with her. We had these traditions where we would do last-minute shopping. I would help wrap gifts, we would decorate the house, and set the table for Christmas dinner. She introduced me to It’s a Wonderful Life and The Christmas Story. We would watch these movies every year, and now I watch them with my children. She also introduced me to theater; the first show was West Side Story (I was around 12 years old). Because of this introduction, I have shared theater with my children. We love and appreciate the work that goes into these shows. Some of the best life lessons I have learned with her. She was always somebody I could turn to if I was ever in trouble. I believe I am who I am because of her love and guidance.

With this, I feel I need to make a difference and help her through her recovery. She’ll be having surgery this month and will be healing, so because of this, she will not be able to work. The stress of that is not going to help her with her healing. So, I’m trying to find ways that I can help her financially; I just can’t do it alone. I would love to be able to do it alone. I am reaching out to friends and family and asking for a small donation, even of $5. Thank you all for this support!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
