In May 2025, our beloved friend and family member, Mark Johnson, received the devastating diagnosis of stage 4 kidney cancer. This news came as a complete shock to everyone who knows and loves him. Since then, we’ve witnessed an incredible outpouring of love, support, and prayers from the community—and we are so grateful. God has truly been present through every step of this journey.
Recently, Mark’s condition has become even more challenging. The cancer has spread to his brain, causing serious complications and forcing him to stop working. Despite these hardships, Mark remains steadfast in his faith. He continues to be a shining light, pointing others to God’s goodness and strength, even in the face of uncertainty.
Mark is now receiving care at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, one of the best facilities available. While we are thankful for this opportunity, the road ahead is long and filled with many battles—physically, emotionally, and financially.
We are starting this fundraiser to help ease the burden of mounting medical bills, travel expenses, and the cost of daily living while Mark focuses on his treatment and healing. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and allow Mark and his family to focus on what matters most: his health and his fight.
