Meet Kris
Kris is a dedicated and loving husband to Autumn and a proud father to six beautiful children. He’s a man full of life, known for his love of the outdoors, his passion for building, and his big heart for animals and family. Kris is the kind of person who brings light and warmth to everyone around him.
His Fight
Two years ago, Kris was diagnosed with Stage 4B Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. After months of intensive treatment—including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and radiation—he beat the odds and was declared in remission.
But just six months later, Kris and his family received devastating news: the cancer had returned. Kris is now battling Stage 4 Lymphoma for the second time with only a 50% chance of survival.
His treatment has involved extensive and costly care at both St. Michael’s Hospital and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. This includes blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants, immunotherapy, radiation, and medications not fully covered by insurance.
The Impact on the Family
Due to Kris’s condition and the intensity of his treatment, both Kris and Autumn have had to take time off work. With travel, medical costs, and daily expenses continuing to rise, they are also trying to support and care for their six children at home in Espanola. This has placed a significant emotional and financial strain on the entire family.
How You Can Help
This fundraiser is being set up to help ease the financial burden of ongoing treatments, travel expenses, medications, and daily living costs while they are unable to work.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps provide hope, stability, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
Let’s show Kris and his family that they are not alone—that they are surrounded by a community that cares, supports, and believes in them.
Please donate if you can, and share this page with others who might be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
